Head chef, Trevor Bearder explains about Nottingham's catering choices
"I am excited about the menus on offer for the new racing season at Nottingham. Much of the winter period has been spent designing and creating dishes that will reflect, not only the seasonality of the produce we use, but also to introduce modern twists, innovation and flavours at the levels and quality our customers expect. We pride ourselves on home baking a large proportion of our offer and where possible, using locally sourced produce through farmers and businesses, to ensure that our menus are of the highest quality.

Jockey Club Catering at Nottingham Racecourse are currently looking for race day and event staff with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who are committed to excellence and have a passion for food and service quality. A variety of positions are available including hospitality managers, team leaders, bar staff, waiters, catering assistants, back of house staff and chefs.
You will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient service for racedays, functions and events taking place at the venue.
You will have exceptional front of house and communication skills.
We are looking for staff with a commitment to high standards and providing good customer care.
Previous catering experience is desirable, but is not necessary as full training will be given.
Weekly hours are variable but could include daytime, evening and weekend work, with flexible hours to suit your availability. We also have shifts available to suit school hours.
