RACECOURSE ACCESSIBILITY

 

If you would like to find out more about the facilities and access at Nottingham Racecourse, a Detailed Accessibility Guide has been created by our partner AccessAble.

 

Nottingham Racecourse is DDA compliant with disabled viewing areas, lifts to the main grandstands and blue badge holder parking.

 

Parking
There are areas set aside for customers with a Blue Badge, to allow forward parking near to the racecourse entrances.

 

Entry to the racecourse
At the main entrances into the racecourse there are access points for wheelchair users, semi-ambulant visitors, pushchairs and those accompanied by assistance dogs.

 

Personal Assistant / Companion Admission

Provided that you purchase a valid admission ticket for yourself, you are entitled to apply for one complimentary admission ticket of the same event for the person who is accompanying you to assist you as a personal assistant. Contact nottingham@thejockeyclub.co.uk to see how to apply.

Viewing areas
There is a raised viewing area next to the track for visitors in wheelchairs and there are viewing areas suitable for wheelchairs on the balconies of all boxes and private suites.

 

Accessible Toilets Facilities
Accessible toilets are available – ask for details when you arrive.

 

Assistance during your visit
If you require information or assistance during your visit, our staff at the main reception will be pleased to help. Or you can ask any member of our staff throughout your day with us.

Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome to attend with their owners without additional charge. We do suggest owners contact the racecourse in advance when booking your tickets so we can advise you on the expected attendance for your event date and the facilities available for yourself and your assistance dog.

Available on our racecourse. For details, please enquire at our onsite racecourse office to speak to a member of our team if you wish to use this facility.
